The Supreme Court will on Thursday deliver judgment on the appeals filed by the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
The Supreme Court’s Director of Information, Dr Festus Akande, confirmed this development to newsmen.
Both Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi are praying the apex court to set aside the judgment by the presidential election petitions tribunal which affirmed the election of President Bola Tinubu.
On October 23, the seven-member panel of the apex court led by Justice John Okoro reserved judgment after parties in the appeals adopted their respective briefs of arguments on Monday.
The court also took arguments from the lawyers on the motion filed by the appellants to supply fresh evidence.
