
The Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi has called on states to cooperate with the commission for successful hajj operations in the country.
Malam Arabi made this appeal during his inaugural meeting with the Chief Executives of Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards, Agencies, and Commissions from various states at the Hajj House in Abuja.
He emphasized the importance of collaboration and synergy among all stakeholders in achieving successful hajj exercise.
Malam Jalal Arabi also encouraged hajj stakeholders to put past challenges behind them and work together to establish a new, efficient approach to hajj operations in Nigeria.
The NAHCON Chairman reaffirmed his commitment to the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu administration, indicating a strong dedication to achieving positive outcomes.
In response, the Chairman of the Forum of Chief Executive Officers of State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards, Agencies, and Commissions, Malam Idris Ahmad Almakura, pledged the full cooperation of the forum to ensure the success of hajj operations in Nigeria.
Malam Almakura also announced plans to intensify nationwide enlightenment campaigns to keep Nigerians well-informed about the new policies introduced by Saudi authorities in preparation for the upcoming year’s hajj.
