
Former Niger state Deputy Governor and former Nigerian Ambassador to South Africa Ambassador Ahmed Musa Ibeto and two other ranking PDP members have defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC from the Peoples Democratic Party PDP
The other two political bigwigs that defected with him to APC from PDP are Ibrahim Egbo former member House of Representatives representing Lapai Agaie federal constituency and Abubakar Azozo former Niger state Commissioner of Water Resources.
Addressing Newsmen at the APC Secretariat in Minna where he presented himself to party officials Ambassador Ahmed Musa Ibeto said he was motivated by the leadership style of Governor Mohammed Umar Bago for providing purposeful leadership in Niger state saying that APC is his house and he is back home.
He however maintained that he was also encouraged by the Governor’s wisdom of providing succor and relief to the poor and vulnerable in the state.
