The Pension Fund Operators Association of Nigeria (Penop) says pension remittance by Employees experienced a boost as a result of the deployment of recovery agents by the National Pension Commission
The Chief Executive Officer of Penop, Oguche Agudah stated this at a virtual session organised by the Association tagged ‘Ask me Anything’
According to him, the whistleblower policy and the deployment of recovery agents is yielding results as many employees now comply.
Speaking on Micro Pension, Agudah explained that it was designed for the informal sector for them to also benefit from the Pension scheme.
