
The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), has urged diaspora professionals to intensify development in technical innovation, fostering collaboration, and driving economic progress in the country.
The NITDA Director General, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi stated this at the Diaspora summit in Ondo
According to Abdullahi, their depth of expertise, different perspectives, and worldwide networks are critical advantages in developing a resilient and vibrant Digital Nigeria.
The summit, organised with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the European Union Commission through the Integrated National Financing Framework (INFF) Phase II programme was aimed at showcasing opportunities within the state and encourage the diaspora community to seize them, particularly in critical sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, education, technology, and infrastructure.
