The Hon. Commissioner, Ministry of Housing has charged civil servants to be up and doing in the day to day discharge of their duties as this will pave the way for the actualization of the MORE agenda of the state government.
Hon. Godknows Angele who made the statement when he played host to the Senior Policy Adviser to the Governor and the team from the office of the special adviser to the Governor on Labour Relations and SERVICOM said that civil servants play potential role that seeks to promote sustainable development in a strategic and seamless manner.
Hon. Angele assured the delegation that the ministry will amongst other things ensure that all issues that bothers on infrastructural development in the state would be taken seriously and that whatever short comings observed by the public would be handled with utmost importance.

He emphasized that the ministry is one of the engine rooms of government adding that the professionals- Architects and Quantity Surveyors alike should recognize the fact that their activities are in public glare and as such they should be guarded.
Earlier, the Senior Policy Adviser to the Governor, Hon Solomon Funkekeme, who is the leader of the delegation called on the ministry staff to revive the SERVICOM unit, as it is the only perimeter of government through which service delivery can be checkmated.
Hon. Funkekeme who gave a brief description of the commitment of SERVICOM, said the essence is to regularly monitor and report to His Excellency, on the progress made by each of the MDA in performing their obligation as well as carry out independent survey of the services provided to citizens.
He further buttressed that services by the various MDAs should be timely, clearly and credibly rendered.
The high point of the meeting was the presentation of the SERVICOM chater to the Hon. Commissioner, Ministry of Housing.
