The Member representing Ndokwa ethnic nationality in the Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission DESOPADEC, Dr. Charles Olisa has thanked His Majesty Barr. Austin Ena Oghenejabo, the Odiologbo of Ibrede Kingdom and the entire kingdom for support and partnership with DESOPADEC.
Dr. Olisa expressed his gratitude on Saturday when he visited the Royal Palace in Ibrede, Ndokwa East local government area. Olisa said the visit was to engage critical stakeholders within DESOPADEC’s mandate areas in Ndokwa Nation.
Dr. Olisa thanked the paramount ruler for his support and encouragement, reassuring the king and the people of Ibrede Kingdom that every community in his mandate area will benefit from DESOPADEC’s developmental projects.
He highlighted some of the projects to include human capital development, through DESOPADEC entrepreneurial skills, youth and women empowerment, as well as infrastructural development.
Speaking, the traditional ruler, HRM Barr. Austin Ena Oghenejabo, expressed gratitude to Dr. Olisa and DESOPADEC for including a beneficiary from his kingdom in the skill acquisition empowerment scheme.
He noted that the beneficiary, previously unemployed, is now gainfully engaged and empowered.
The ruler also commended Dr. Olisa for being visible, accessible, and communicating effectively with stakeholders in Ndokwa Nation.
