The Head of Service of Delta State, Dr (Mrs) Mininim Oseji has advised Directors in her office to ensure that every proposal that needs to access funds be written before the end of the month.
The Head of Service gave the advice when she presided over a Strategic Session with Directors to review the Budget Performance of the Office of the Head of Service for the year 2025 in Asaba.
Disclosing the objectives of the meeting to include comparing the office budget performance in year 2024 with that of year2025 and getting an update of the Office approvals, the Head of Service urged them to do the needful by getting the need assessments of their Departments in order to get their memos out.
Urging Directors in the Office of the Head of Service, Directorate of Establishments and Pensions, Computer Center and Staff Training Center, to always work as a team as they deliberate on Budget Proposals and Performance, She promised to ensure that approvals were accelerated before the end of the year.
She emphasized the need for them to get their facts and figures ready even as she noted that Capital budget performance was a key performance indicator in the overall Budget Performance.
