The Commissioner Bureau for Special Duties, Hon.Terry Etacherure has asserted that Easter is a call to action by embracing love and kindness to others and letting go of bitterness, reflecting God’s love for mankind through Jesus sacrifice.
He made the assertion at his country home in Ogharaheadquarters of Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State while advising Christians/Nigerians to embrace love and peace among themselves as love and peace are the prerequisites for growth and development.
Etacherure admonished Christians to embrace love and kindness while celebrating the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
While celebrating and wishing Christians a blissful celebration, the Commissioner noted that the season of Easter is a season of sober reflection, season of love and kindness.
He reiterated that Easter is a reminder of how God shows his unwavering love to mankind by sending his only begotten son to pay the price of death for the redemption of man.
Etacherure noted that there is no greater love than the love of God towards his children as such men should learn to love one another by being one another’s keeper.
‘As you all celebrate the Easter season, may the power of Christ’s love and resurrection transform your lives and fill you all with hope, joy , purpose and inspire you all in Jesus name ” the bureau Commissioner stated.
