
The National Lottery Nigeria NLN, has commenced operations with the unveiling of a project called Naija Mega Jackpot to enrich Millions of Nigerians.
At the launch of the project in Abuja, the Managing Director of the National Lottery Nigeria, Mr Layi Onafowokan said millions of Nigerians will be winning incredible life-changing prizes with exciting games playable with a little as N100.
Mr Onafowokan said with N100, an individual could win N45 million, to play through the USSD code *9966# and on its Website.
”National Lottery Nigeria under the aegis of leading lottery operator, systems and Gaming Nigeria offers variety of engaging and rewarding games to Nigerians from the Naija Mega Jacpot, 6/49 pick 3, to instant win scratch card games”. Mr onafowokan stated.

The Managing Director of National Lottery Nigeria said there will be Live draws for the lottery which will begin airing on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) on March 4, 2023, with the Naija Mega Jackpot live draw showing on Saturday and Wednesday nights while the 6/49 live draw will be on NTA and all NLN social media platforms every Tuesday and Friday night.
He explained that aside from revenue for the government, the National Lottery Nigeria would also create jobs and encourage entrepreneurship through its various initiatives.

To ensure fairness and transparency in its operations while securing a safe gaming environment for its players, Onafowokan disclosed that the National Lottery Nigeria has an Integrity Committee which monitors all games.
The Director General of National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), Mr Lanre Gbajabiamila said the project was part of efforts to provide jobs for Nigerians and create wealth for the masses.
Mr Lanre Gbajabiamila expressed confidence that with the launch of the National Lottery Nigeria, the country would surpass other African countries in lottery operations.
