
Afro Street music singer and rapper, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Ajola, popularly known as Mohbad has just put up a new single called ‘Tiff’, which is a potential diss track to his estranged record label, Marian music. This has got fans fussing and also confuse if Mohbad had to be ungrateful to create a diss track to his former boss Naira Marley.
Mohbad who some time ago made it known via an Instagram video claiming that he had been assaulted at the hands of the hands of the Marlian crew after he requested, he change is manager who happens to be member of the Marlian family.
The post which gathers a lot of attention and raised many interests as this was not the first time the artiste had come online to talk about the record label being after his life.
No longer after his tweet surfaced on the internet, his boss, Naira Marley, responded by saying that artiste was lying. He claimed that Mohbad had a history of getting violent whenever he was intoxicated and that is what caused the uproar.
Mohbad who also refuted, using the Twitter platform states that the label owners’ story is false and it is disrespectful for him to sell the narrative of being intoxicated every time they assault him
Also, Mohbad earlier this month, issued termination notice to the record label via its owner, Naira Marley, over alleged unpaid royalties over a period of three years as well as physical assault. The statement issued by the singers lawyer on Tuesday served Naira Marleys Marlian Records with notice of contract termination. Although nothing official has been said since the notice, Mohbad on November 6, 2022, shared a snippet of his upcoming song took shots at Marlian Music, Naira Marley, and might have even called out label signees Zinoleesky and C-Blvck in the song.
