Residents yesterday shared their sad experience and displeasure over the delay of collection of their Permanent Voters Card (PVC).
Residents of Ikorodu, Lagos State whom earlier this year have appealed to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to relocate its Ikorodu office for easy processing and collection of Permanent Voters Card (PVC) are displeased as it still hasn’t been made easy for them.
Some of the residents whom had been hopeful and remained in queues for hours in the expectation of eventually getting their PVC hope were cut short as officials shifts date. Some unpleased residents were heard to complain “Since January we registered for PVC and you haven’t made it available, you keep postponing the dates”. “This is bad, officials have no consideration that some of us had come from far and sacrificed our time to be here.
