
Labour Party in Kaduna State has Inaugurated 450 campaign council members towards in preparation for next month general election.
At the event in Kaduna, National Secretary of the Party, Mallam Umar Ibrahim introduced two Kaduna State serving House of Assembly members who defected to the party and became House of Representative candidates for their constituencies.
The National Secretary described the inauguration as the most important moment for Labor Party in the whole of Northern Nigeria because of the high profile personalities in attendance.
Mallam Umar Ibrahim maintained that the rich manifesto of the gubernatorial candidate, Mr Jonathan Asake should be used to develop the state.
The Governorship candidate of Labor Party, Mr Jonathan Asake said his 5-Point manifesto focuses on Security, Education, Health, Agriculture/Women and Youths Development among others.
Mr Jonathan Asake promised to work in harmony with his running mate, Mallam Bashir Idris in fairness, equity, justice and restore hope to Kaduna residents if elected as governor of the state.
State Chairman of Labor Party, Mallam Auwal Tafoki urged the 450 members of the campaign council to work assiduously towards success of the party in the general elections.
