
Media facilitators at The West African Broadcast Media Academy (WABMA) emphasized the significance of continuous learning during a 2-day media training event held on August 15th and 16th.
The training, organized by the West Africa Broadcast and Media Academy-WABMA in collaboration with Gbenga Aiyeremi Foundation and Kleverest Scenta, pulled participants from the Kleverest Scenta Behind-The-Scenes event.

The training covered diverse media topics, including content creation, news writing, and the application of trending technologies in journalism, aimed at enhancing participants’ roles as journalists and contributors to society.
While speaking to the trainees, Mrs. Temitope Omole, highlighted the importance of self-discovery and multi-talented skills. She emphasized the value of being research-oriented and mastering proper pronunciation of names to excel in news and current affairs. urging participants to continuously improve their skills to showcase their abilities to the world effectively.
On her part, Mrs Abosede Dirisu, delved into the essentials of report writing, stressing the significance of conciseness and avoiding vague language. She differentiated between editing and proofreading.
She called on participants to thoroughly review their reports before submission, as well-constructed reports can influence an organization’s future decisions.
