The newly inaugurated leadership of the Okere-Urhobo Kingdom Youth Wing, led by President Emuaghogho Eburu, on Wednesday, 6th of August, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Warri South Local Government Council, with a firm commitment to promoting peace, youth engagement, and development across the kingdom.
During the visit, the youth delegation emphasized their readiness to work closely with relevant authorities and stakeholders in driving positive change, especially in the areas of education, empowerment, and community unity.
President Emuaghogho Eburu noted that the new executive team is focused on restoring pride and purpose to the youth body, fostering responsible leadership, and creating platforms that will enable young people in the kingdom to thrive.
He stated, “We are here to build bridges of cooperation. Our vision is to inspire meaningful participation among young people and ensure they are key players in the growth of our community.”
The youth Exco also used the opportunity to appreciate the enabling environment created by the Warri South Council, which has encouraged youth inclusion in governance and decision-making processes.
In a brief response, Hon. Isaac Agbateyiniro, the Warri South Council Chairman, congratulated the new executives and expressed optimism about their plans. He encouraged them to remain focused, responsible, and united in delivering on their vision.
The meeting ended with both parties agreeing to maintain open communication and joint efforts in community-building initiatives.
