Interswitch Group, one of Africa’s leading integrated payments and digital commerce companies, and Temenos (SIX: TEMN), a global leader in banking technology, have partnered to enhance its digital banking capabilities.
The partnership is also targeted at expanding the firms’ access to modern financial services across in key African markets, including Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, and others.
A statement said the partnership will offer Interswitch opportunity to use Temenos solutions – across core banking, digital banking, payments, wealth management and financial crime – to provide cloud-hosted and on-premises managed services to banks and financial institutions across Africa.
