The Federal Government has established the Federal College of Agriculture, Ogboinbiri in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
The Federal College of Agriculture Ogboinbiri, was established following the assent by Former President Muhammadu Buhari to the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria (Amendment) Bill, 2023.
The Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria (Amendment) Bill, 2023 was sponsored by the member representing Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr. Preye Influence Oseke.
