
Delta State Government has organized a dinner party in honor of the participants of Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC) 18, 2025 of the National Institute for Security Studies (NISS), Bwari, Abuja, at the end of their successful study tour of the State.
The dinner party, which was held at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba, had in attendance top government functionaries, including the Secretary to the Delta State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Emu.
The SSG, who was represented by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution, Chief Edwin Uzor said the State government was aware that the study tour was a critical component of the course curriculum of the Institute and expressed happiness that it hosted the participants considering the attendant benefits the research work hold for the State.
He expressed optimism that the areas visited within the State, including Security Agencies ,Local Government Councils as well as the interactions and Ministerial briefing sessions, had enriched their research work.
The SSG noted that the dinner party was put together for the participants to relax and unwind after the hectic schedule of activities since their arrival in the State and wished them a safe journey back to their destination to continue their course.
In his remarks, the Leader of the Team, Mr. Hyginus Ngele, commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the accelerated infrastructural development across the State and the peaceful disposition of the people of the State.
He equally thanked him for giving them the opportunity to use the State for the study tour and pledged to make available their recommendations at the end of the research.
The ceremony featured a dance troupe and the presentation of souvenirs to the participants by the State government.
